Halloween 2014

A little late in posting this, but the boys had a great Halloween.  Nelson had several ideas of what he wanted to be before finally settling on a Ninja Turtle.  He particularly wanted Donatello (I think he thinks it's fun to say).  Erik has been excited to recognize Elmo lately, so it worked out great for him to wear Nelson's old costume.  He was surprisingly proud to wear it.  Also, some fun in the fall leaves. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

End of Summer

The boys are so much fun these days.  Erik is walking around and Nelson's imagination keeps us on our toes.  We were able to go camping over Labor Day weekend.  The boys loved staying in the old family tent.  We also took our annual picture at the Capitol, even though it had already frosted and the flowers were not so fresh.  Now the leaves are starting to fall and we're having fun outside in the cooler air!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Birthdays & Busy Summer!

It's been too long and there's too much to post:

• Visiting Go Go & Pop Pop - the boys had a blast with them and all the fun stuff to do in the city.
• Nelson's 3rd Birthday at the end of June! - He is so grown up these days! Riding his bike & telling us stories.
• Erik's 1st Birthday at the end of July!  - He was so sweet, crawling at that point and eating anything we give him (except cake)
• Targhee Bluegrass - we loved the music and visiting friends.  Great family festival.
• And more, that will just have to wait for another post...

Growing Boys

Whew!  It's been a while since our last post - and lots of pics to prove it.  Erik has 6 teeth and is a crawling/climbing machine.  Also, he crawls just like his big brother did: one knee, one foot!  Nelson is doing very well at using the potty and is now also sleeping in a big-boy-bed.  We are all enjoying summer time now as it is so much fun to be outside with these two little guys.
