8 months

Nelson is 8 months old today!  He now says many different sounds and is quite mobile.  He's crawling - although he's using one knee and one foot to get around instead of both knees.  He can also get to a sitting position all on his own.  He's also started eating solid teething cookies and puffs, with his two new teeth.

His eyes are still pretty much steely blue - but starting to get some brown in the middle.

Here are a few recent, sweet pictures.  The hat is from Auntie Andrea.  And he still loves the outdoors - even looking at it through Grandma's window.  He's been more vocal lately too.  He now says "Da" and lots of "n" sounds: ney,nye,ni,ning(over and over).  He also has two little razor-sharp teeth poking through on his bottom gums.
